MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Working toward realizing its complete lifestyle offering, PRO-FRIENDS entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde. The MOU will enable the institution to offer its School for Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) programs at PRO-FRIENDS’ flagship project, Lancaster New City.
“We face very exciting times as we collaborate with the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, known for its innovative and industry-oriented academic programs. We believe it will benefit not only Lancaster New City’s residents, but those in Cavite and the Southern parts of Metro Mahnila,” shared Richard Tay, PRO-FRIENDS Senior Vice President and Commercial Business Unit head. “We are now working on identifying which courses of the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) we can offer in the short term, targeted toward those who want to retool and equip themselves for the increasing challenges at work. Or simply those who want to shift gears mid-career and pursue their true passion. One such offering would be the planned Real Estate courses. This will allow Lancaster New City’s agents to earn continuing professional education credits without leaving the township.”
“In coming up with a masterplan for Lancaster New City, we paid particular attention to allocating space for and integrate learning institutions in our development,” he adds. For K-12 education, Lancaster New City boasts of St. Edward Integrated School’s four campuses for its close to 3,200 students coming from within and around the township. “Through our collaboration with De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, we provide our mid-career professionals the opportunity to excel in their chosen field and advance further.”
PRO-FRIENDS, through Lancaster New City, remains committed to providing value propositions that meet the #familygoals of families inside its community. Lancaster New City is a 1,600-hectare development that spans the city of Imus, and the towns of Gen. Trias and Kawit in Cavite.
